We are writing to inform you of an important decision regarding the compatibility of our products with the CentOS operating system. After careful consideration and evaluation of several crucial factors, we have decided to discontinue support for CentOS. This decision was not taken lightly, and we would like to transparently explain the reasons behind this choice.
CentOs End-of-Life (EOL)
First and foremost, it is essential to acknowledge that the CentOS project has announced the end of development for future versions. Specifically, CentOS 7, the penultimate actively supported version, will reach its End of Life (EOL) in June 2024. CentOS 8, due to the premature termination of development, will reach its EOL in May 2024. This means that no further security updates or patches will be released, posing significant security and stability risks.
Impact on Security and Compatibility
Our primary priority is to ensure that our products are secure, reliable, and performant. To achieve this goal, it is crucial that they operate on operating systems that receive regular security updates from their developers. Unfortunately, with the cessation of updates for CentOS, it becomes impractical to guarantee the long-term compatibility and security of our products on this operating system.

Discontinuing support for CentOS allows us to focus our resources on the development and continuous improvement of our products on platforms that receive comprehensive support and ongoing updates. This focus is essential to provide continuous innovation and significant enhancements that meet your needs and exceed your expectations.

We strongly advise all our customers currently using CentOS to consider a migration to alternative operating systems that will continue to receive support and updates from their developers.
